Mahabir Koder heads an association that ranks among its members leading petrochemical and logistics companies that are active contributors in the development of best practices for manufacturing, storage and transport as well as the implementation of international conventions. His professional career has revolved around what was formerly known as Thai Asahi Caustic Soda Co., Ltd., a Thai-Japan joint venture that was later renamed as THASCO Chemical Co., Ltd. and eventually acquired its present name of AGC Chemicals (Thailand) Co., Ltd. He has been and continues to be closely involved with globally recognized programs such as CATEMAG.

Mongkol Phanthumkomol is trained as a chemical engineer and spent many years with ESSO and Dow Chemicals. He has since then established his own logistics consulting company, MC Syllabus, which serves various industry sectors such as petrochemical, packaging, food, automotive, mining, and ceramics. He is called upon to assist various government agencies in the development of training programs for supply chain / logistics management, handling and transporting hazardous substances and other materials. He is a member of committees in other associations such as the Federation of Thai Industries. |

Mikael P. Henzler is a widely-recognized expert in international cooperation with specific expertise in the environmental field. As part of the Asian and Pacific Center for Transfer of Technology of the United Nations (UN ESCAP) initiatives, he has conceptualized and conducted development projects in Asia-Pacific in cooperation with governments, private enterprises, development banks, industry and NGOs. Mr. Henzler has been responsible for conceiving, undertaking and evaluating various development projects in Africa and Asia for international and European organizations, such as the UN, EuropeAid, DG TREN, World Bank, GTZ, RKW, ESCAP, IHK GmbH and DEG, on issues of globalization and sustainability. |

Ms. Sally Ananya Surangpimol (Haig-Brown)

Sally Ananya Surangpimol (Haig-Brown) trained as a food scientist in Japan. Originally from the Philippines, she was the recipient of science scholarships from both the Philippine and the Japanese governments. After she moved and established a base in Thailand, she held Quality Assurance positions with leading food manufacturers, where she analyzed, developed and implemented management systems for Quality and Food Safety. These enabled Thai export industries to comply with international requirements and thus be competitive in the global market. She is regarded highly for her work in meeting the needs of both government and industry sectors, for supply chain integrated systems and standards, that include Environment, Occupational Health & Safety, Sustainability and Social Accountability. Her various accreditations as Systems Auditor, Certified Trainer and Skills Examiner has taken her to over 200 locations on 5 continents. She has lectured at the Mahidol University International College, written for regional technical / business publications and spoken at international conferences worldwide. |
