Project Goals

Increase the rate of compliance of the hazardous material transport industry in Thailand to EU Directives / Regulations & Multilateral Environment Agreements on safe hazardous substance transportation.

Train at least 50 Small and Medium Enterprises on various EU conventions, MEAs, Technical and Behavioural Training programs with an aim of increasing awareness and initiating behavioural changes.

Train at least 15 Local Authorities and Experts to carry forward the initiatives of the SAFE THAI Project.

Establish substantial knowledge transfer through a Central Knowledge Repository in the form of a bilingual Learning Portal (covering EU & International Regulations on chemical / hazardous substances transport, handling, storage and management) and make it available to at least 500 institutions. 

Foster stronger dialogue and better understanding through networking between Small and Medium Enterprises in Thailand and European companies.
